AFLE Stats Leaders: first marks set after Week 1
After the opening AFLE week, the first statistical leaders are in, with quarterbacks, running backs, receivers and pass rushers setting early marks.
First numbers after the opener
The AFLE has released its first Stats Leaders after Week 1. The season is still young, but the numbers already show which players started fastest.
Jakeb Sullivan leads the passing yardage list with 255 yards, ahead of Jameson Wang and Karé Lyles. Wang leads in passing touchdowns with four, underlining how dangerous his passing game looked in the opener.
Brzozowski and Harley stand out
In the run game, Dawid Brzozowski set the early mark with 144 rushing yards, followed by Albert Wiesigstrauch with 136. The numbers show that the AFLE’s opening week was not only about quarterbacks and receivers.
Among receivers, Mike Harley Jr. stood out with 186 receiving yards and four touchdowns. That is an immediate statement and a sign of how explosive the Panthers offense can be.
Stats as early indicators
Week 1 statistics are not a final verdict, but they do show trends, roles and possible matchup problems. For coaches, fans and analysts, the first leaderboards offer a useful look at who may set the pace in the new league.
