Nordic Storm set the tone

The European Football Alliance has announced its Players of the Week for Week 2. Nordic Storm made the biggest statement, with wide receiver Roberto Miranda and linebacker Ludvig Myrén taking two of the three awards. Paris Musketeers kicker Dean Faithfull completes the group.

Miranda was named Offensive Player of the Week after Nordic Storm’s 39-16 win over Raiders Tirol. The receiver caught eight passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns, becoming one of the clear difference-makers in the matchup.

Myrén leads the defensive side

Defensively, Ludvig Myrén stood out with ten solo tackles, one tackle for loss and one sack. His presence against the run and his tackling efficiency helped Nordic Storm control a game that was closer deep into the second half than the final score suggests.

Special teams were also recognised. Dean Faithfull earned the honour after Paris’ 30-9 win over the Prague Lions, converting three extra points and a field goal.

Early signals in the EFA season
