Historic home game: Paris Lights open the gates free of charge
The Paris Lights will play the first home game in franchise history — and fans will be able to attend free of charge.
A first home game in franchise history
The Paris Lights have confirmed the venue for the first home game in franchise history. The AFLE team will host the Firenze Red Lions on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Complexe Sportif de l’Île-des-Vannes in L’Île-Saint-Denis, just north of Paris.
The most striking part of the announcement is the admission policy: fans can attend free of charge. According to the AFLE, the City of Saint-Ouen will cover the event costs, making free entry possible for everyone attending in person.
A strong signal for new fans
For the Lights, this is more than a regular home opener. It is the franchise’s first major appearance in front of its own crowd and a chance to make American football more visible in the French capital.
Paris gets its first AFLE home game — and the gates are open to everyone.
