Miller wants to keep playing

Von Miller does not appear ready to end his career. According to ESPN, the veteran pass rusher said he is “for sure” playing for somebody in 2026 and has also brought up the possibility of a return to the Denver Broncos.

Miller is a Broncos legend. He was MVP of Super Bowl 50 and shaped Denver’s defense for years. A return would be both a football story and an emotional one.

A changing role

At 37, Miller would not necessarily be viewed as an every-down player anymore. His value could come as a situational pass rusher, mentor and experienced locker-room leader.

That is exactly what teams often look for late in the offseason: production, experience and players who can still create pressure in important moments.

Nothing decided yet

Nothing is final. Miller remains a free agent, and whether Denver seriously considers a return is open. Still, the story is fascinating: one of the best defenders of his generation wants another run, possibly where his NFL legend began.
